NMIMS- NPAT Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to appear for NPAT 2021 must fulfill the eligibility criteria for the NPAT exam. If candidates fail to meet eligibility criteria, the application forms will be rejected by the officials. Below are the eligibility criteria for NPAT as prescribed by Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS).

  • Candidates applying for NPAT exam must have completed Class 12 or equivalent examination (inclusive of International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma in any stream)
  • Candidates can submit an IB diploma only if it is awarded by a recognised board. IB certificate holders are not eligible for the test.
  • Candidates who have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from Open or Distance Learning (ODL) are also eligible to apply for the exam. In this case, the school should be recognised by National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
  • Candidates who have not been able to clear 10+2 either from CBSE or ICSE board or IB diploma in their first attempt are not eligible for NPAT exam
  • Candidates must have obtained an aggregate of 60% in 10+2 or equivalent examination
  • Candidates holding IB Diploma will be eligible only if he/she has Mathematics/ Statistics at the standard level
  • Candidates having cleared either CBSE/ ICSE board exam need to mention the aggregate marks of all the subjects of Class 10 or equivalent examination. The marks of best of four or five subjects will not be considered.
  • Candidates exceeding the age of 25 years are not eligible to apply for the exam
